Positive Change 101

The whole point of making changes — for you or your organization– is to create a result you want.

Are you focused on what you want — or what you don’t want?
Are you alive, exhilarated, eager, clear, confident, energized and fully aligned with what you want to achieve? Or, like most people, are you frustrated, tired, or stuck?

Like most executives, I was taught to solve problems and mentor others to do so. While this approach can make people feel valuable, as they scramble to put out fires, I have discovered that it is far more effective to take attention away from “what’s not working?” and focus on what’s going well– and how can we build upon that to get the results we want.

My work in positive change focuses on using positive energy to achieve the result. By looking at what is good, working, positive already — and expanding on that– you expand energy, align, and create powerful momentum toward your desired result, while releasing resistance .

My model has its roots in Systems Thinking, Spirituality, Positive Psychology, Appreciative Inquiry, Quantum Physics, and Culture Change. Tailored to the specific needs of the person or group, my process guides you to find the best in the parts and the whole to spark the desire, means, and momentum to reach your vision. Along the way, you and those around you, are happier, more energized, and more committed to creating the positive change.

When you start with the positive– what’s working here? Where is there a core of something good already? What are the things I appreciate in this person?– you’ll find you feel better, you have more energy, and you create results faster. You can do this for yourself, personally, and you can do this with an entire company or community.
